Request Type

Each query has a type: administrative request, maintenance request, key sale, moving, etc.

You must define the types of queries you want to use.

Creating a request type

  1. Click on the Modify Tags button available in the Queries section of the main menu;
  2. Click on the New Tag button;
  3. Complete the information for the new tag;
  4. Click on Save.

Parameters

NameType name
ColorColor associated with the tag
Default handlerIf set, the specified user will be set as the handler for all new requests with this tag.

Making Request Types Mandatory

Request types can be made mandatory, meaning co-owners must select at least one type when creating a request. To enable this setting:

  1. Go to the Administration section in the main menu
  2. Click on the Edit button
  3. Enable the Mandatory Request Type setting
  4. Click on Save

Automatic Assignment

By setting a Default handler for each request type, requests can be automatically assigned to the appropriate manager.

When a co-owner creates a request and selects a type with a default handler, that manager will automatically become responsible for the request.

Modifying a request type

To modify an existing type:

  1. click on the Modify types button available in the Queries section of the main menu;
  2. Modify the name and color associated with the type;
  3. Click on Save.
