Account Transactions

In this section, you can access the transactions of an accounting category.

To navigate between categories, click on the list on the left.

You can filter the displayed categories by chart of accounts section (income, expenses, assets, liabilities, capital, accounts payable, accounts receivable) using the dropdown menu at the top of the list

Parameters

PeriodYou can filter transactions by date using this parameter.
Show cancelled transactionsBy default, cancelled transactions are not displayed. To see them, check this box.

By clicking on the icon, you can access the transaction details

CounterpartyCounterpart of the transaction
DescriptionDescription of the transaction
PaymentPayment method (if applicable)
InvInvoice Number (if applicable)
CheckCheck Number (if applicable)
DepositDeposit Number (if applicable)
DebitAmount debited from the accounting category
CreditAmount credited to the accounting category

Buttons

+ TransactionCreditTo add a credit to the accounting category.
DebitTo add a debit to the accounting category.
Book entry
  • To add a book entry to the accounting category. This option allows you to record transactions in a very flexible way.
  • You can, if you wish, include multiple accounts to the credit and multiple accounts to the debit of the transaction.
  • To debit an amount from the account, enter a negative number. To credit it, enter a positive number.
  • Make sure, however, that the transaction balances, i.e. that the sum of the credits is equal to the sum of the debits.

csvTo export the category transactions in csv format.
PDFTo export the category transactions in PDF format.
