Notifications
Notifications keep you informed about important events in your building. You receive alerts for new requests, pending approvals, and other actions requiring your attention.
Viewing your notifications
Section titled “Viewing your notifications”To view your notifications:
- Click on the Bell icon (🔔) in the left navigation menu;
- A panel opens displaying all your notifications;
- The number shown on the icon indicates how many unread notifications you have.
Managing your notifications
Section titled “Managing your notifications”In the notifications panel, you can:
- View a notification: Click on a notification to go to the corresponding page;
- Mark a notification as read: Click on the X on the right of a notification to dismiss it;
- Dismiss all: Click the button at the top of the panel to dismiss all notifications at once.
Types of notifications
Section titled “Types of notifications”You can receive notifications for:
- Transaction pending approval: A transaction requires your approval;
- Transaction approval note changes: A note has been modified on a transaction pending approval;
- Request follow up: A new email has arrived in response to a request;
- New request: An email was received but is not associated with an existing request;
- Added to building: You have been added as a member of a building;
- Added to building group: You have been added as a member of a building group;
- Added to billing account: You have been added to a billing account;
- etc.
Configuring your notification preferences
Section titled “Configuring your notification preferences”To customize how you receive your notifications:
- Go to your account page by clicking on the Account icon in the left navigation menu;
- Click the Edit button to enable editing mode.
Choosing your alert method
Section titled “Choosing your alert method”Select how you want to receive your alerts:
- Inactive: No notifications will be sent;
- By email: You will receive an email for each notification;
- By push notification: You will receive notifications directly in your browser (you will need to authorize notifications in your browser).
Selecting alert types
Section titled “Selecting alert types”Once you have chosen an alert method (email or push notification), you can choose which types of notifications you want to receive:
- All notifications: Receive all types of notifications;
- Custom selection: Choose only the types of notifications that interest you from the drop down list
Saving your changes
Section titled “Saving your changes”Don’t forget to click the Save button to save your notification preferences.
