Pre-authorized payments from co-owners

Co-owners authorize you to each month withdraw from their account the amounts of their condo fees.

Pre-authorized payments by Otonom Solution

Note

You must first activate the Otonom option in the Administration section by entering your Otonom Solution number.

For each unit, you must:

• Enter their banking information,
• Activate the automatic withdrawal option,
• Set the withdrawal day.

Then each Otonom payment will be created automatically.

Sending payments to Otonom is configured in the Administration / Payments section.

• If you enable the Automatically send unit payments to Otonom option, unit payments will be automatically sent to Otonom when they are created.
• If you do not enable the Automatically send unit payments to Otonom option, unit payments will only be sent when you click Send to Otonom.

Pre-authorized payments on your bank’s website

Note

When pre-authorized payments have been set up on your bank account, they do not go through AppNFlat. The corresponding transactions must be recorded in the application.

You can record these transactions in the Units section by clicking on + Transaction and choosing the Pre-authorized payment option.

Pre-authorized payments to suppliers

You pay suppliers by pre-authorized payments each month.

In the Suppliers / Info / Recurring Invoices section, it is possible to record a monthly payment to a supplier.

Pre-authorized payment method

Note

When the payment method is preauthorized payments, the payment is not made by the application but is for example authorized via the supplier’s website as proposed by Hydro Québec or it is set up on the bank’s website. This payment therefore does not go through AppNFlat and therefore does not need to be authorized or sent in any way.

Tip

In the Supplier / Info / Recurring Payment section, you can set up automatic monthly transaction creation to avoid manual entries.

Otonom payment method

Note

If the method of a recurring payment is Otonom, it will be generated automatically each month, without the need for approval. It will then be necessary to send it manually to Otonom (see above Pre-authorized payments by Otonom Solution).
