Request Tag
Each query has a type: administrative request, maintenance request, key sale, moving, etc.
You must define the types of queries you want to use.
Creating a request type
Section titled “Creating a request type”- Click on the Modify Tags button available in the Queries section of the main menu;
- Click on the New Tag button;
- Complete the information for the new tag;
- Click on Save.
Parameters
Section titled “Parameters”| Name | Type name |
| Color | Color associated with the tag |
| Default handler | If set, the specified user will be set as the handler for all new requests with this tag. |
Making Request Types Mandatory
Section titled “Making Request Types Mandatory”Request types can be made mandatory, meaning co-owners must select at least one type when creating a request. To enable this setting:
- Go to the Administration section in the main menu
- Click on the Edit button
- Enable the Mandatory Request Type setting
- Click on Save
Automatic Assignment
Section titled “Automatic Assignment”By setting a Default handler for each request type, requests can be automatically assigned to the appropriate manager.
When a co-owner creates a request and selects a type with a default handler, that manager will automatically become responsible for the request.
Modifying a request type
Section titled “Modifying a request type”- To modify an existing type, click on the Modify types button available in the Queries section of the main menu;
- Modify the name and color associated with the type;
- Click on Save.
