Archiving an account
You can archive accounting categories that you no longer use. They will not be deleted strictly speaking so as not to lose data.
To archive an account:
- Go to the Accounting tab in the left menu.
- Go to the Accounts submenu.
- Select the account in the list on the left.
- Click on Edit.
- Click on Archive.
The archiving operation cannot be canceled.
Once archived, the account is only accessible when you filter the accounts by activating the Archived parameter at the top of the account list. You will be able to view past operations, but you will no longer be able to create transactions for this account.
